A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday after a recent revelation of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.

Her passing was announced in a social media post from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

Within a personal essay this past fall, she disclosed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a uncommon variant.
This form of cancer is a cancer that affects the body's blood-forming tissues.
